This hotel is in a great location just steps away from Madrid’s famed Gran Via and surrounded by good shopping, theaters and convenient to the Metro and a bus stop. The Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol are within easy walking distance. The hotel is well suited to holiday travelers and businessmen who want to stay in the historic part of Madrid but don’t want to spend too much on luxury.
Does HotelsByCity recommend this hotel?
Yes, if you want a great location, close to lots of restaurants and good shopping. No, if you are looking for luxury and the most efficient staff. Cheap and clean are the words the come to mind after reading what previous clients have had to say.

All of the 154 rooms have been recently renovated and are equipped with satellite television, Internet access, DDL telephones, in-room safe (for a fee), air conditioning and heating, writing desks and fully-equipped bathrooms with a hairdryer. One floor is dedicated to non-smokers and there is room service.
The hotel serves a continental breakfast, starting at 7am and has a bar and cafeteria. Its 24-hour front desk offers car rentals, currency exchange and can arrange for tickets for theaters and other entertainment. There are laundry and dry cleaning services and the hotel will look after your luggage for you if you are touring other parts of Spain and don’t want to carry everything with you. Lack of dining facilities is not a problem since there are so many bars, restaurants and tapas bars nearby.
