Gran Hotel Conde Duque in Madrid Spain

Enjoyed our stay. The staff was very accomodating. They were willing to book any restaurant and work through any language barriers. Most spoke English. Advice was given on tourist destinations. Close to Metro Train. Many stores nearby. I would recommend this hotel.

I booked this hotel because the picture of the room looked very nice and they had a double bed. We got two very small single beds, about one foot off the floor, in a room that was about 10ft by 10ft. The floor even sloped.The view was of the roof of another building. The whole experience was very dissapointing. We paid a lot for this room and i would never stay here again.

Maybe the location isn't the most central, but this is a 1st Class hotel offering excellent value. Small room but luxurious. Staff cares for the hoteel.
