This 420-room hotel is located on Calle Antonio López, next to the M-30 motorway and the Vicente Calderón stadium, home ground of the Atletico de Madrid soccer team. Getting around from here is reasonably easy. A taxi from the airport takes between 15 and 20 minutes at a costs approximately €25.. The nearest Metro station is.Marqués de Vadillo which will give you access to all parts of the city. The hotel has eight floors, with three elevators, and is close to the Prado Museum, Queen Sofia Museum and the large Casa de Campo Park.

This is a neat clean place to stay now the renovations in the lobby and rooms are completed. This will eliminate some of the previous clients’ problems about elevator buttons being held on by tape and rubble in reception. The hotel does need to update its website. Several oddities: The hotel website says all rooms have wireless Internet access. The same website FAQs says Internet access, or computers are not available in the hotel. The hotel website says: "There are cyber-cafés close to the hotel." Previous clients complain about poor English being spoken at the front desk. The hotel website says: "Languages spoken at reception; Spanish, English, French, German, Italian and Portuguese." Read our customer reviews?

The rooms have all been refurbished with a modern décor and have heating and air conditioning, in-room safe (for a fee) a modern bathroom with hairdryer, satellite TV and pay-per-view movies, IDD telephone line, mini bar and a choice of either a double bed or twin beds..

The hotel has a pleasant restaurant which only seats 80 people and prides itself on fine cuisine. Fortunately there are numerous bars and restaurants within easy walking distance of the property. The 24-hour front desk offers currency exchange, can arrange for rental cars, laundry and dry cleaning and will store luggage for you if required. Room service is also available.
