A quality hotel, the Abba Castilla Plaza Hotel, is located next to the well-known Torres de Kio, (the strange looking towers that have become modern day landmarks in Madrid) in the business district of Paseo de la Castellana. If traffic is light it is only 15 minutes away from Barajas Airport and the Chamartín rail station. For the businessman it is within reach of the IFEMA Fairgrounds and the Palacio de Congresos of Castellana. For the tourist there is a metro station across the street and Plaza Mayor is five kilometers away.

If the price is right this can be an ideal spot to stay in Madrid. At night you are away from the noisier entertainment districts but within reach of them thanks to the all night buses. Minor complaint is the restaurant’s limited menu but that is not a problem thanks to the city’s vast number of eating spots. Read our customer reviews?

The hotel has 181 rooms, including 40 executive rooms, four Junior Suites, 74 rooms for non-smokers, and two rooms specially designed for disabled guests. All are well furnished and fully equipped as you would expect from a four star property. In addition to the expected features every room has a trouser press and a phone in the bathroom and Internet access.
