Standing along Barcelona’s busiest street, the Hotel Montecarlo is housed in a 19th century palace that used to house the Royal Artistic Circle of Barcelona. In operation since 1945, the hotel has been refurbished with a contemporary design and fitted with modern amenities. A buffet breakfast is offered to guests, while the lounge bar provides light snacks and a range of refreshments. Other dining options, together with retail outlets, can be found near the hotel, along La Rambla. Attractions in the area include the Baroque and Rocco styles of Virreina Palace, the Santa Maria del Pi gothic cathedral, the Gothic quarter of the city, and the Santa Llúcia cathedral.

From Barcelona Airport, take the Aerobus departing every 15 minutes to Plaça Catalunya. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. The hotel is a five minute walk away.
