The HCC Regente is housed in a building dating from the early 1900s and that retains its Art Nouveau style. The interiors were completely refurbished in 2004, resulting in contemporary décor and modern amenities. Guests can begin the day with a breakfast buffet spread in the breakfast room. Refreshments are available throughout the day at the bar by the lobby. Dining and shopping outlets are located near the hotel. Architectural sights within walking distance from the hotel include Antoni Gaudi's design of Casa Batlló and Casa Milà (La Pedrera), Casa Amatller by Puig i Cadafalch, and Casa Lleó i Morera by Domènech i Montaner.

Driving from Barcelona Airport, use B-204 to leave El Prat de Llobregat then continue along C-31. Get on C32B/Carretera de l'Aeroport in the direction of B-22/Barcelona/Ronda de Dalt/Lleida/Girona. Carry on to C-32 in the direction of Exit 16B/Barcelona/Ciutat Vella then get on A-2/B-10. Take the exit heading toward Exit 21/Paral•lel/la Rambla/Montjuïc/Port Vell. Turn right to Passeig de Josep Carner. At the Plaça de la Carbonera roundabout, take the fourth exit then continue along Avinguda del Paral•lel toward Estació de Sants/Fira Montjuïc 1/Avinguda Paral•lel/Plaça d'Espanya. Continue along Avinguda del Paral•lel. Turn right to Ronda de Sant Pau and get on Carrer del Comte D'Urgell. Turn right to Carrer de València. Turn left to Rambla de Catalunya.
