trip was wonderful ,although there still is a couple of things i could change it was a comfortable stay...the crowne plaza to start yes i agree room decor needs improvement being a though is a 4 star hotel..tub.floor,rugs.needs to be upgraded..but yet location and club room amenietys are greatly convinient like free breakfast/internet/drinks its open till midnight pool open 24 hours w/ sauna and gym club room bed room is very spacious. highly recommend room service .food.and house keepin great...

We almost did not stay at the Crowne Plaza because of the discouraging reviews - but the location snd the price were right. The location was wonderful within walking distance of everything. The staff/concierge was very helpful. We had no concerns with noise and even were placed in a smoking room - no problems. From an American currently living abroad - the cold air conditioning was a major bonus!!! WIll return to the Crowne Plaza and Amsterdam!!

this hotel looks great in the lobby, but once you get to the rooms you feel like you're in a motel in middle america. also the staff at the front desk was not very helpful, friendly or knowledgable. i had trouble dialing out from my room and when i asked for the help, not one of the staff could tell me how to do it. also we tried to use the suana and it was broken in the mens side, as was some of the gym equipment. the bar/ rest staff were very friendly and helpful. we would not stay here again.

We recently went to Amsterdam and were most disappointed by this Crowne Plaza. The service was awful. We had to wait in the lobby for 6 hours and were then double charged for the hotel before leaving. I will never stay here again.

The room quality was much more superior than the others that I have stayed at in the same area. Service was excellent and location is great. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Amsterdam and will definitely stay there again myself.

The Crowne was a VERY convenient location in Amsterdam close to everything. The wait staff was great and the bar was great for a cocktail before retiring. Rooms were above average and large by European standards.

Excellent location, 5 minute walk across from train station and close to everything. Main shopping district is around the corner. Highly recommended to everyone.
