Best Western Premier Santelena in Venice Italy

The hotel is located in a beautiful residential area. It's off the beaten path but close enough to walk to St. Mark's Square (about 20 min) and close to a water taxi stop (3 min walk). The rooms were roomy (rare for Venice) and the breakfast area is phenomenal. It has a beautiful courtyard.

The appeal of this hotel is its location down a quiet, cobblestone street. It is nicely appointed, and the staff is warm and accommodating, tolerating with forbearance and appreciation our attempts to put our limited Italian to use. The hotel serves an excellent breakfast. A walk across a nearby park puts you at the vaporetto stop which takes you to wherever in Venice you want to go. Turn right as you come to the park from the hotel and buy tickets at the tabachi on the next corner.
