Housed in a 15th century building that used to be a Venetian palace, Gardena Hotel retains its old world charm and architectural structure, while offering modern amenities after its refurbishment in 1996. Scenic views of Canale dei Tolentini and the Papadopoli Gardens can be admired through arched windows or balconies throughout the hotel’s premises. A simple bar offers light snacks and beverages while a variety of dining options as well as retail shops are located within the hotel’s vicinity. Chiesa dei Frari and Scuola di San Rocco are about 700 yards from the hotel while Rialto Bridge is about a mile away.

The hotel’s proximity to the train station makes it easy for guests with heavy or huge luggage to easily get to and from the train station. While it is not a four star establishment, the rooms are sufficiently spacious and clean, with helpful and friendly staff.
