Located in a quiet district of Venice, the Ca’Pisani Hotel is housed in a 14th century Venetian palace. Fully renovated in 2000, it is the first design hotel in Venice. Its interiors feature Art Deco design and original furnishing from the 1930s to 1940s. Located throughout its premises are artworks by Fortunato Depero, a key figure of the Italian Futurist movement, and Ugo Sissa. In the same artistic vein, La Rivista Restaurant serves creative Italian cuisine while its bar is an original 1940 piece salvaged from an hotel in neighboring Padua city. Located half a mile from the hotel is Saint Mark’s Square with the major attractions of Saint Mark’s Basilica, the Doge’s Palace and Bridge of Sighs.
