Hotel des Bains in Venice Italy

My husband and I got married at the Excelsior and had our reception and stayed at the des Bain. The room was fantastic. The meal was the best of our life. I loved the des bain so much, that I am taking my mother there and staying there again this year. And come on -it is Italy - they do things a little different - get over the turning out of the lights and when in venice... I lived there for 6 months and this is one of the best hotels.

Birds were flying into the dining area and having a feast. No A/C in our room and we asked them to fix it every day for our entire stay, and most of all they turn the lights off in the lobby after 10pm which is a major safety hazard for the Hotel. Staff was very unhelpul, and they ruined our honeymoon. PLEASE STAY ELSEWHERE.

Was with a large group of 60+. We all enjoyed the hotel. The people were nice and friendly, the rooms were large, requests were met quickly, shuttle to Venice was great, close to the beach, meeting organization was great, food was good!
