Housed in a five-storey building dating from the early 1900s, Hotel Camelia opened its doors in 2005. The hotel features sleek design and modern comforts, including a lift for easy access to rooms on the higher floors. Located near the diplomatic and financial sector of the city, the hotel is also close to the Porta Pia historical monument as well as various dining outlets. The Via Veneto shopping stretch is slightly over half a mile away and even more retail outlets can be found slightly over a mile away at Via del Corso. The popular Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain attractions are a mile from the hotel while located 1.5 miles away are the Colosseum and Roman Forum.

Complementing the hotel’s central location are the underground and bus stations located within walking distance from the hotel, providing visitors the option of exploring Rome using affordable public transport. Camelia Accommodations

Hotel Camelia has 40 rooms that are furnished simply. All rooms have air conditioning, satellite television, telephone, in-room safe, mini-bar, radio and sound-proofed windows. The attached bathroom has shower or bath tub, complimentary toiletries and hair dryer. Guests enjoy a complimentary buffet breakfast. Most rooms are double, but single rooms are available on request. Non-smoking rooms are available on request.

Functions for 40 (maximum) persons can be held in a meeting room equipped with audio visual aids. Complimentary Internet connectivity points are located around the lobby, which is air conditioned. The reception is manned round the clock by multilingual staffs who offer suggestions on dining and sightseeing around the city. Guided tours and airport transfers are handled by the Concierge.

Hotel Camelia is approximately 22 miles from Leonardo da Vinci Airport.
Driving from the airport, get on Autostrada Roma-Fiumicino then Ponte della Magliana.
Continue on to Viadotto della Magliana then travel along Viale dell'Atletica to enter Via Cristoforo Colombo.
Continue on to Viale Guglielmo Marconi, then exit on to Largo Enea Bortolotti.
Get on Via Tullio Levi Civita and continue on to Viale di San Paolo followed by Lungotevere di San Paolo and Via Ostiense.
Continue to Piazzale Ostiense and turn left to Piazza di Porta San Paolo.
Travel on to Viale della Piramide Cestia followed by Piazza Albania then Viale Aventino.
Continue on to Piazza di Porta Capena, then Via di San Gregorio and Via Celio Vibenna.
Take a left to Piazza del Colosseo then left again to Via Nicola Salvi.
Turn right to Via degli Annibaldi followed by another right to Via Cavour.
Turn left to Via Giovanni Giolitti then right to Viale Enrico de Nicola and continue on to Largo Giovanni Montemartini.
Travel along Via Solferino then turn right to Piazza dell'Indipendenza.
Take another right to Via Goito and arrive at Hotel Camelia.
