Roman architecture can be seen throughout the premises, which have been refurbished, and fitted with modern furnishing and amenities. A bar offers light snacks and drinks, while the hotel’s vicinity offers various dining options. Guests can easily walk from the hotel to visit the Santa Maria Maggiore Basilica with its beautiful mosaics in the central nave, triumphal arch and apse. Located half a mile away are the Santa Maria degli Angeli church and the Golden House (Domus Aurea), which used to be Nero’s palace.
