This hotel was more than adequate. Nice spacious bathroom. Cordial, friendly and multilingual staff. Near termini station on a small side street. Near Mercato Esqualino. Great find. Highly recommend.

Overall our experience was good. The service provided by the staff exceeded expectations. They were very accommodating and attentive to our needs. The meals were very good and the breakfast service was outstanding in selection, quality and quantity. Our room was clean and well appointed with the only inconvenience being the small shower stall without bathtub. The halls and common areas were always clean and tidy. Most major attractions are within a 30 min. walk except for the Vatican. The metro gets you to the Vatican in 25 min. and is a short walk from the hotel. We enjoy walking and locating places did not seem that difficult.

I thought the hotel was located near some of the important sights, but it took a while to get our bearings. Nighttime was a little rough, helps to speak italian to your company as you walk by some of the locals near the hotel. I was really pleased with the staff of the hotel, they were very helpful.

Bad location makes this average at best hotel not worth it. Overpriced and not worthy of 4 stars.
Impeccable service - posted on 10/02/2004
location is not great. Once inside, I felt I was in a different neighborhood though. We found the staff very attentive and helpful. The food was fabulous and service was impeccable. Our room was very comfortable and clean. We knew the sights of Rome were not going to be next door so location was not an issue. A 40 yr old woman with a 16 yr old daughter were not afraid to walk around alone.
