The six-storey Hotel Ambra Palace is housed in a building that dates from the 1850s. While the building shell is retained, the interior has been completely remodeled and fitted with modern amenities. Guests can savor Italian cuisine and at the Sala Concerte restaurant or sip on drinks at the La Note bar round the clock. Close to the hotel are other dining options, retail outlets and the Santa Maria Maggiore Church. More boutique shops can be found a mile away at Via Veneto, while slightly under 1.5 miles from the hotel are the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps.

Driving from the airport, get on Autostrada Roma-Fiumicino then continue on to Ponte della Magliana followed by Viadotto della Magliana.
Continue along Viale dell'Atletica then get on Via Cristoforo Colombo.
Turn left to Via Laurentina then turn right to Via Cristoforo Colombo and continue along Viale delle Terme di Caracalla
. Take a right to Piazzale Numa Pompilio then get on Via Druso and carry on to Piazza di Porta Metronia, followed by Via della Ferratella in Laterano.
Turn left to Via dei Laterani, then right to Via dell'Amba Aradam and get on to Piazza di San Giovanni in Laterano.
Continue to Via Merulana and turn right to Viale Manzoni.
Take a left turn to Via Emanuele Filiberto followed by a right turn to Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II.
Turn left to Via Principe Eugenio and continue along Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II.
Turn right to Via Mamiani then right again to Via Principe Amedeo and arrive at the hotel.

Take the train that departs every 30 minutes for Termini railway station.
From there, get on Via Giovanni Giolitti and turn right to Via Alfredo Cappellini then turn left at Via Principe Amedeo to arrive at Hotel Ambra Palace.
