While the five-storey Hotel Amalia has been serving travelers since 1955, its premises have been updated accordingly with the times. Located in the historic area of the city, the hotel is in close proximity to the Vatican City and Saint Peter’s Basilica. The Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain are located some 1.5 miles away from the hotel, while the Colosseum and Roman Forum are approximately 2.5 miles away. The hotel’s bar offers a range of drinks to quench parched throats after a day of sightseeing while several eateries in the vicinity offer various dining options.

Hotel Amalia is approximately 16 miles from Leonardo da Vinci Airport, which is an approximate 45 minute drive.
From the airport, get on Via Portuense and continue along Via della Magliana.
Travel on to Circonvallazione Occidentale, followed by 1 then Via Aurelia.
Continue on to Via Baldo degli Ubaldi then Via Angelo Emo and Via Candia.
Turn right to Via Sebastiano Veniero then take another right turn to Via Leone IV.
Get on Viale dei Bastioni di Michealangelo and travel along Piazza del Risorgimento.
Turn right to Via Vespasiano and take another right to Via Germanico to arrive at Hotel Amalia.

Take the train, which departs every 30 minutes, from the airport to Termini station.
Transfer to the Metropolitan Line A in the direction of Battistini then exit at Ottavuano S. Pietro stop.
Walk on to Via Ottaviano in the direction of Vatican City and continue for a short distance to arrive at Hotel Amalia.
