Housed in an Umberto style building, Hotel Diplomatic is located in the historical area of Rome, in between the Spanish Steps and the Vatican City. Its interiors combine classical furnishing with modern amenities. A bar serves a variety of drinks to end a day of sightseeing. Near to the hotel are various dining spots and retail spots. Slightly over half a mile from the hotel is the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain, the Roman Forum is slight over a mile away, and the Colosseum is less than two miles from the hotel.

Driving from the airport, get on Via Portuense then to Via della Magliana.
Get on Circonvallazione Occidentale then continue on 1 followed by Via Aurelia.
Travel on to Circonvallazione Aurelia then Piazza di Villa Carpegna and Via Gregorio VII.
Continue on to Piazzale Gregorio VII, then Via di Porta Cavalleggeri and Piazza della Rovere.
Get on Ponte Principe Amedeo Savoia Aosta then turn left to Lungotevere dei Fiorentini before traveling on Lungotevere degli Altoviti.
Continue along Piazza di Ponte Sant'Angelo, then Lungotevere Tor di Nona.
Turn left to Piazza di Ponte Umberto I and continue on to Piazza dei Tribunali.
Turn right to Via Triboniano then take another right to Piazza Cavour.
Get on Via Vittoria Colonna and arrive at Hotel Diplomat.
