It was a great trip. The weather was fine and we did a lot of exploring and walking. We took the metro everywhere and bargained with a taxi (cheap compared to NYC) to take us to Sounion down the coast. The people were laid back and friendly. If you want directions, ask the policemen- they all speak English. Seeing the ancient ruins nestled inside a modern city was a contrast.
