Holiday Inn Munich in Munich Germany

What a dump this place is. The rooms were old and ratty. The lamp shades were torn, the bed was in shambles, and the carpet was filthy. I hated to get into the bed. Thankfully we only stayed one night. It's in a residential area with an abandoned warehouse across the street. Far from the U bahn station as well. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. I think a hostel would have been better b/c it would have been much cheaper. Wish I would have stayed at the Holiday Inn Munich City Center, which was FAR Superior!

Hotel is inexpensive for the Munich area. It is only about 3 blocks from the train. We were able to take the train to visit downtown. Rooms are small by US standards, but normal for Germany. Only 2 people will fit in a room.

Hotel was clean and modern. Only a short walking distance to the subway station. The only drawback was that the restaurants were very smoky. However, when you are in a country where everyone smokes, I guess it should be expected. Staff was friendly and spoke good English.
