The Hotel Amarante Beau Manoir is well-situated in the art district of Paris with sites such as the Champs Elysees, the Place de la Concorde, famous museums and beautiful monuments only steps from the lobby. Not much farther are boutiques, cafes and theaters. If you are looking for a peaceful break from the fast pace of city life, why not visit the garden Jarden des Tuileries with its greenery, ponds and fountains.
For your dining pleasure there are two restaurants available on site plus a bar that you can relax in at night. Plus if you feel the need to exercise after or before indulging in your favorite French cuisine, feel free to get in a workout in their health and fitness room.
And if you need to stay in touch with the office or with friends and family back home, there is a workstation with Internet access down in the lobby.
Does HotelsByCity recommend this hotel?
Some may be put off by the dated furniture and lack of air conditioning, but the knowledgeable staff and close proximity to superb activities win over many. You may simply prefer to stay here in the Spring instead of summer months if you are bothered by the heat.
One of the greatest pluses at the Amarante, if you are willing to pay for it, is the continental breakfast, described as "the best breakfast in the world." It is an excellent way to start off your day and get your energy up to sightsee and shop.
The on site work out facility is also a nice little perk. Many other hotels in Paris force you to go outside the hotel to gyms that they have contracts with. Here you can wake up in the morning, get in your workout, have a fantastic meal and then head out for your daily adventures.

The "four-star" hotel has 60 air-conditioned rooms with views. Some of the rooms connect to give visiting families room to spread in their "suite." The traditional decoration highlights cloth-covered walls and beautiful, rich artwork hanging on the walls. The wooden ceiling beams and rich wood furniture nicely complement one another. In each room are international television channels, pay movies, telephones, voice mail, Internet access for a reasonable surcharge, modern bathrooms with tubs and hand held showers.
The hotel's luxurious fitness room, with stone walls and a domed ceiling, offers exercise equipment and mats for the use of guests. Within the hotel, the dining room serves a continental breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. for a reasonable surcharge. You may also choose to call room service and have the meal in your room. You can also order room service throughout the day or visit the on-site restaurant, which offers a full menu from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 7 to 11 p.m. Complimentary newspapers are available in the lobby and computer and cell phone rentals are available upon request. There is a microwave in the lobby for guest use.
You can take the Air France shuttle bus to Place Etoile or the Roissy Bus to Opera, and then continue on from there by taxi or foot. Further, an RER B train ticket, will take a guest from either airport to Chatelet-Les Halles station, from where guests can continue by taxi or metro.
