Great hotel in a fabulous Paris location - posted on 12/19/2005
Jolly Hotel Lotti is a great hotel in a most fabulous Paris location. A hop away from the Louvre, just next to Rue st Honore for great shopping and the jewellers of Place Vendome. Hotel Lotti is a perfect Paris location for the business traveller and the tourist with a discerning taste. The staff at Lotti have always been helpful and their service is second to none. I love this hotel.

A maid prepares your bed for the night and gives each a chocolate ... lots of fine little details that make your stay Very Pleasant. Would Highly Recomend to Everyone. Will stay there again in the future.
Stolen prescriptions! - posted on 04/03/2007
My family and I recently stayed here. While the hotel is beautiful and the location cannot be beat, one of my family members had prescription medicine stolen from her while we were wandering Paris. The hotel staff was unhelpful. They accused her of losing it herself even though she searched the room for a long time, then they did not follow through with a promise of a meeting with the hotel's director.

The hotel is beautiful -- old, elegant European charm -- and is located within a few minutes to the closest Metro station and 5 - 10 minutes from the Louvre. It was very clean and had all the amenities we needed, including a hairdryer. (Buy a European hair straightener oherwise you risk burning your badly!) The staff was courteous, helpful and bi-lingual. My only holdback from a 5 rating is that we could hear a fair amount of "streetnoise" from motorcycles, cars, , etc. We were on the second floor -- it may not be as noisy on higher floors.
great location and rooms - posted on 01/05/2007
Hotel Lotti is in a very convenient location and we walked to all of the attractions. The area surrounding the hotel is very upscale and rather expensive, making it a very clean and safe area. The room was very large and the bathroom was the largest I have ever had in Europe. The staff at the hotel was friendly. The only glitch was had was that we were told that breakfast was included for us when we checked in and then we were charged for it when checking out- but they took it off our bill.

Charming hotel, friendly staff. We'll definitely stay there again when we go back to Paris. For only 30 Euros a night we upgraded from Standard to Deluxe room, which was twice as big, had a king size bed, an enormous bath, and no carpet but wooden floors. Worth every penny!

Very comfortable accomodations. Hotel staff constantly kept room clean and tidy. Hotel staff fluent in many languages and very helpful in all areas of a traveler's need. Hotel's cuisine was great.

Great place - posted on 11/19/2006
We honeymooned here for a week in January & it was great. We returned to our room 2-3 times daily & it had been cleaned each time, even the sheets were changed. The shower was as good as in the U.S. (most European showers are horrible), bath towels were heated, robes and slippers in room. It's an expensive place to stay, but if you can afford it it's worth it.

Very nice hotel especially for a first time visitor to Paris. Location is very central. Not the most romantic location but hotel is very nice and service was exceptional.

Amazed by the level of service at the Lotti. Beautiful (tho small) room in a very elegant hotel. Location was excellent, definitely worth it if this is your first trip to Paris.
Only worth it for the location... - posted on 10/18/2006
We received was a "deluxe" room, which was approx. 4m by 4m, with a double bed, desk, chair, armchair, minibar and TV: it was tight. The window, opening on a rooftop, could not be left open for ventilation. The adjacent bathroom also lacked ventilation: the wallpaper was peeling off, the paint on the door was cracking. Add to this a poorly installed glass pane for the shower that was leaking.

Wonderful Trip - posted on 05/23/2006
We had a wonderful trip. The hotel staff was excellent and the English speaking staff at the concierge desk was outstanding. They managed0 to get us reservation each and every night for exactly what we asked for. Although the room was nothing like the picture on the website, it was very adequate and the bathroom was very nice. The lounge area, the restaurant and the staff more than made up for the room size. We would highly recommend the hotel to our friends.

Beautiful public areas where fresh flowers abound. Friendly staff. Our standard room was small, nicely appointed, but more 3 star than 4--marks on wallpaper, peeling near lavatories. We were quite comfortable there and would definitely stay there again. Our favorite location! Can walk anywhere from there, or take the Tuileries Metro. Only real criticism-- the 25 euros per person cost of breakfast, which we didn't do. Across the street at Cafe Castiglione you can have whatever size and price breakfast you like. We would stay at the Hotel Lotti again.

I thought this hotel was great. Well other than the water not getting hot. The location was terrific. It was our first trip to Paris so we didn't know what we were going to get. My husband and I loved it.

Jolly Hotel Lotti is an ideal location for travellers looking to visit famous Paris Sights. Within 2 mile walking distance to all. Metro one block away. Room was large by European standards. Housekeeping excellent. Painting touchups would help, but nothing that should affect your stay.
My experience... - posted on 01/17/2006
My wife and I spent a week in January, 2006 at the Jolly Hotel Lotti in downtown Paris. From check in to check out, things could not have gone any smoother. The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance from the Louvre, Musee D'Osay, Champs-Elysees, Opera Garnier, Place Vendome, and many fine restaurants. The entire staff was knowledgeable and helpful. We especially appreciated the services of the hotel concierge for restaurant suggestions and directions. I would highly recommend this hotel to anybody planning a trip to Paris.

Hello! Spend one night in this hotel. Hotel has nice location, but small rooms.Rooms need some renovation, bathroom is ok.
Enjoyable Stay - posted on 12/01/2005
It's a nice hotel in a nice location. Just a short walk from a metro station (the way to get around in Paris) and right by the Jardins des Tuileries (park next to the Louvre). They could use shower curtains for the bathroom as it's easy to flood the floor. On the other hand, they have a speaker in the bathroom so you can catch up on the morning news while getting ready to go out!

The Lotti is a fabulous location, right next to the finest shopping, dining and the metro. Pay less for your room and be in the best location. Hotel aging a little but the staff is friendly, helpful and didn't mind our children being there.
Great location, accomodations so-so - posted on 10/05/2005
My husband and I recently took our first trip to Europe. We stayed at the Hotel Lotti which was in a fantastic area and had very good service. The room was okay, some peeling wallpaper, poor heating, but overall pretty nice. The room service choices were fairly limited but classically Parisian. I would stay again, but have seen much nicer accomodations in the states, however a good experience.

great hotel. Beautiful, with large rooms and a very accomodating staff. They gave great recommendations for restuarants and answered all our questions regarding the french economy. Central location.
How can you let a bar drag you down? - posted on 04/17/2005
I would have rated Jolly Lotti much higher if not for our experience at the bar. I inquired how to get ice from the concierge. He said he would send some up. After 30 min. I received a telephone call that the bar was too busy but would send ice for 5 euro. I declined even though I would have tiped someone 5 euro.

Very nice hotel, beautiful lobby. We had a large suite that accomodated three people with tons of space (which is hard to find in European rooms!) The concierge and staff were helpful. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel as it was quite pricey. Wonderful location, close to both Champs Elysees AND Place Vendome. Would definitely stay here again, as it was luxurious, yet wonderfully suited for busy tourists like us!
