We stayed for a very pleasant three nights in July. It was unseasonably hot in London, and we were thrilled to find the room air conditioned. The room was small by American standards but very clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was very pretty. The location is fantastic, a few hundred yards from the St. James tube station and a few blocks from Westminster Abbey. We didn?t eat in the restaurant but enjoyed the Italian ice cream when we returned each day from sightseeing! It also had internet access for a small fee. We would most definitely stay here again.

You couldn't find a better location! Friendly staff. Facilities are better than average for London. Beautiful lobby! 12 pounds for cereal,coffee,and roll seemed a bit much to me!

We stayed in this hotel for 7 nights and were very pleased. Althouth rooms were small, they were comfortable.

Very amenible staff. My neice and I arrived in the early morning hours and they gladly checked us in so we could freshen up. Wonderfylly cozy room. Provided great local information. Very comfortable in the neighborhood at night. The absolute only downside? The minibar prices are outrageous and you may not store drinks in the fridge! Stayed here several times since the early 1990's and have never been disappointed.

The hotel has a lot of history, is very clean and charming. The service was excellent and the proximity to many things, including the Underground was great. I would definitely recorrmend this hotel to anyone staying in London.
