Customer Reviews for Hilton London Kensington

Great Value - posted on 07/07/2006

This hotel is located in the quiet residential area of Kensington (near Notting Hill). The rooms are quite small, but normal by European standards. The breakfast buffet was incredible and was included in our price. The value was great. We arrived at 11am after a 10-hour flight and were given a room immediately at no additional cost - that's worth it's weight in gold!

Fun! - posted on 03/12/2006

Staff was very polite and always willing to help you. The gift shop worker was extremely helpful and very nice. He directed me to Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park without trying to sell me something and without getting confused with busses and subways.

Avoid this hotel! - posted on 11/20/2004

This hotel seriously needs some work. The hotel staff were generally not friendly and not willing to help out with your requests. The food in both the am/pm cafe and also "Imbue" was awful and the worst thing was the rooms were EXTREMELY hot and it was not possible to keep the temperature in the room to a comfortable level. Overall, I would say AVOID THIS HOTEL!

tiny rooms, not great area - posted on 10/14/2004

Even the executive rooms are tinier than average for London in this hotel. The bathrooms are ridiculously small, and the sinks seem scientifically designed to splash you with water when brushing your teeth. The club floor lounge is OK for snacks & drinks, but is busy and oversold. The location of the hotel is not unattractive, but not particularly close to anything interesting in West London and is a bit of a walk to the subway. They sell pricy wi-fi net access but don?t offer outlets for anything but UK cords, nor will they trust you with an adaptor. Thoughtless.
