hotel with an attitude - posted on 10/25/2006
Receptionist are good if you dont ask question, but boy, if you ever tried to ask some question, they start questioning you like a nazi. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone especially to families with children because its dirty, rowdy and terrible customer service. Stay with an american brand

Stayed in Feb 06- construction is finished. Nice bathtub and shower, awsome balcony view of Town Hall from 6th floor rooms. Clean, comfortable rooms, great free breakfast. Sits across square from large shopping street Stroget. Walk to Nat'l Museum, Tivoli, Glypototec, Malls, Nyhaven, etc.

The Square is a comfortable, newer hotel in the center of Copenhagen. It offers quality and luxury with comforatable rooms. This is the nicest of the 3 hotels I've stayed at in the Town Hall area (The Palace and Mermaid being the other two).

Yes there is construction on the second and top floor but the location is exellent and the hotel is modern. Nice continental breakfast served w/view on top floor. Will return.

Right on the Town Hall Square with a fabulous view, this hotel has a modern, stylish Scandinavian design. It is clean and well kept, and the staff is friendly and efficient. The breakfast buffet was great (cold cuts, cheese, eggs, pastry). My room had a balcony and a fantastic view.
good location, mediocre rooms - posted on 06/04/2005
Apparently converted office space that may still have construction noise. Great location right on town square, smallish but clean rooms many with poor alley views. Limited breakfast, but good danishes (go figure). Cool lobby doesn't make up for room size. Book only if it's at a discount.
