Built in 1973 initially as an apartment-hotel, the Hotel Bristol Stephanie has since been managed by the English, Irish and since 1995, by the Norwegian Olav Thon Group. The hotel has been refurbished through the years, resulting in a fusion of luxurious comfort with modern amenities. Fine French cuisine is served at Le Chalet d’Odin restaurant while Stefany’s bar offers light meals and snacks throughout the day. Sightseeing options located half a mile from the hotel include the statuettes on Place du Petit-Sablon and the Church of Notre-Dame-du-Sablon. Slightly more than half a mile away is Porte de Hal, which are remnants of the city’s 14th century fortifications, and Place Royale.

Hotel Bristol Stephanie has 59 Standard rooms, 80 Deluxe rooms and three suites. All rooms have air conditioning; satellite television with Internet access and in-house videos; telephones with modem, voice mail and fax plugs; iron & board; trouser press, and coffee/tea making facilities. The attached bathroom has a telephone and hair dryer. One suite has a private sauna. Non-smoking rooms, rooms with kitchenette, and rooms with connecting doors are available on request.

By train:

Take the train to Gare du Midi (South Station) then get on the metro in the direction of Simonis.
Alight at Louise station and walk along Avenue Louise toward the Place Stephanie roundabout.
Continue walking straight ahead for another 164 yards to reach the hotel on your right.

By car: If coming from the Netherlands and Antwerp (E19), follow direction Ring-E40-Luik, at the end of highway E19.
On the ring, take the exit for Brussels Luik-Leuven and continue in the direction Brussels.
If coming from France via Mons (E19), take the Waterloo-Ring East exit just before Brussels and continue in the direction of Luik-Liege on the E40.
Exit via Brussels-Luik-Leuven then continue in the direction of Brussels.
If coming from Luxembourg and Namur (E411), head toward Ring-E40-Luik.
Arriving at the ring, take the exit Brussels-Luik-Leuven and continue toward Brussels.

If coming from Germany and Liege (E40), stay on the highway without taking the ring.
This brings you straight to Brussels.

If coming from England and Ostende (E40), head toward Ring-E40-Luik when entering Brussels.
On the ring, exit via Brussels-Luik-Leuven head toward Brussels.
At the entrance of Brussels, head toward Centre-Centrum and stay in the tunnel.
At the end of the tunnel, continue on to Avenue Cortenbergh.
Arriving at the Schuman roundabout, get on Rue de la Loi then turn left at the big crossing with traffic lights.
Enter the tunnel and continue until the Loise exit.
Take the roundabout and turn in to Avenue Louise.
Travel along and past the roundabout, arriving at Hotel Bristol Stephanie after 164 yards.
