Regina sits proudly at both Canada’s and North America’s center, well almost center. It offers you spectacular sunrise and sunsets and there are miles of beautiful wheat fields flanking either side of it. Whether you travel here for business or pleasure, Regina will welcome you with open arms.
Although there are beautiful parks located throughout the city, Regina is home to one of the largest urban parks in North America. Wascana Center has hundreds of thousands of trees, great walking paths and even a lake that has its own islands. There are many smaller parks located throughout Wascana as well, which means you have a lot to see and explore.
Regina houses one of the largest legislative buildings in Canada. The Saskatchewan Legislative Building is also one of the most beautiful and is often referred to as the Marble Palace. Make your way to the Royal Saskatchewan Museum if you are interested in Saskatchewan’s history, as well as European and Native American history. Regina has a fantastic casino, called what else but Casino Regina. Housed in a restored train station you will find hundreds of slot machines and tables that offer anything from Black Jack to Three Card Poker. While you are (hopefully) winning, you can enjoy the beautiful architecture that surrounds you. If you happen to be traveling here during the CFL (Canadian Football League) season, you will definitely want to catch a game of the Saskatchewan Roughriders. The fans, all decked out in green, make this a fantastic experience. Wondering who the red uniforms are? Regina is home to a training center for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Although Regina has many great hotels the Radisson Plaza, located in downtown Regina, is one of the best. Even if you are staying somewhere else you can enjoy a fantastic dinner at their Dining Room.

Wander through the wheat fields, explore a massive urban park, learn about its history and greet the Mounties. Regina is a great city filled with exciting ways for you to spend your time.
