Dark! - posted on 04/28/2007
Great Location, but the rooms need updates. Bathrom was very very dark. Had to call for clean up first day....
Bad service - posted on 04/07/2007
Really had a bad experience there with the people being rude at check in and cold. lobby loked great.

The room was a bit small but clean and comfortable. Exercise room was good. Morning breakfast was a full, very nice buffet. Service was excellent. Location puts you close to the old city. Shopping mall below hotel is great in bad weather. Right next to the Museum of Contemporary Art. Overall, very nice.
Montreal Weekend - posted on 03/08/2007
The Hyatt is a fantastic place to stay for a quick weekend. The staff is top in their class and go above and beyond to provide a great experience. You also can't beat the location.
THERE'S A MALL HIDDEN UNDERNEITH! - posted on 02/24/2007
The staff at this hotel made our experience that much better. They went above and beyond in helping us out. And please, make sure you wander where you shouldn't. You might just find the underground mall like we did. What a pleasant surprise for 3 25 year olds!
Wonderful Staff - posted on 02/22/2007
The staff at the Hyatt were so helpful and pleasant. They went out of their way to make our visit a pleasant one. Our room was on the top floor and we had an amazing view. The hotel was located right in the heart of the city with easy access to shopping (including a mall below the hotel) and entertainment and dining.

The Hyatt Montreal is a great hotel. It is in the perfect location in Centerville, close to shopping, clubs and restaurants. The free continental breakfast was a plus!
Beautiful Hotel, great location - posted on 12/11/2006
This hotel was in an awesome location, right in the middle of Montreal--- next to wonderful restaurants and museums. It is inside of the Underground city and has direct access to the subway. The staff is very friendly and the room are beautiful-- had to be recently renovated. Everything is working and up to date. I would def. stay here again.
Overall Nice - posted on 08/21/2006
The hotel is in a fabulous location, close to many features and a subway stop. We were placed in a room that had noisy neighbors the first night, but moved to a quiet room for the remainder upon request. The staff was friendly and helpful. The cab stand was convenient.
Great location - posted on 08/21/2006
The hotel was very comfortable, clean, and mostly was very central to anywhere I needed to go. The metro station was just a block away and I never had to go outdoors to get to the station. The hotel is attached to a mall with a great food court, stores, and even a grocery store. I had a great view of the art museum and the park near by.
Great Downtown Oasis - posted on 08/10/2006
Great Location. Great Amenities. Staff is very professional - they dealt very well with an offensive group of drunks hanging out by the pool. Would definitely stay there next time in Montreal.
Hyatt Montreal welcomes GLBT people - posted on 08/10/2006
Very friendly workers, got a refrigerator at no charge to store medicine, very nice room. Very welcoming of openly gay guests.
Pricey for what you get - posted on 07/10/2006
Went up for the International Jazz Fest, so the best part about this hotel was the location. Other than that, for the price, you can a better room elsewhere. The staff was top notch though.
Not up to expectations - posted on 04/01/2006
Location is good. The concierge gave us amazing, unique and luxurious dining options. Rooms were barren despite being renovated. Very "cold", not luxurious, nouveau style. Not what we expected from a Hyatt. Location is good for shopping, yet the adjoining mall has little to offer.
Decent for the Price - posted on 03/13/2006
Stayed here 3 nights and rooms were very acceptable, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The parking garage is very expensive through the week and should be included with the price of the Hotel stay.

It didn?t meet my expectations. I've stayed at other downtown hotels that are a bit pricier, but it's worth it to get what you really want. This hotel is in complexe desjardins, and lacks direct access to the street. If you're returning later in the eve, access is through the parking garage, as the complexe will be closed. Location is great and overall the hotel isn't bad. I'd rate it a low 4, with value for money at 3. This hotel would have more value during spring through fall when able to take advantage of walking the city.
Not up to the Hyatt Standard - posted on 10/19/2005
This was a nice enough hotel, just not comparable with the other Hyatt's we have stayed at. The hotel rooms are recently renovated in an Art Deco theme which we found to be somewhat cold. The location of the hotel is no better then its other competitiors since many of the attractions in Montreal can be easily reached from any downtown hotel. The Concierage was amazing and gave us two amazing restaurant recomendations. A plus for him. Self parking is very very easy in a great attached garage and very cheap on weekens (8 dollars)
Very Nice Facility - posted on 10/27/2004
I have stayed at this Hotel on a number of occasions and have had enjoyed my stay in time. The location of the hotel is awesome being close enough to both the shopping district and the gay village. The pool has been renovated and is nice but kind of plain with a pool attendant watching every move a person makes while there. Rooms are nice and clean, however, the air ventilation didn't work too well. Overall, the experience was positive and I found the property very nice.
