About the Hotel Ruby Foos

Ruby Foos is a Montreal landmark located halfway between downtown and the Trudeau Airport. The rooms are clean, well designed, and spacious. Tourism Quebec awarded Ruby Foos a four-star rating. Although outside of the downtown core, it is still near many attractions such as the Hippodrome de Montreal and the Orange Julep. Downtown, however, is just a subway or short taxi ride away.
This well appointed place has on-site restaurants, gym, and other services (please see below) to handle most of your needs. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, multi-lingual and are more than happy to provide you with what you need for an enjoyable stay.

The one drawback with Ruby Foos is that you will be paying downtown prices for the room and restaurant but without the convenience of staying downtown. To me, however, this is a great place for anyone needing to get away from the bustle of Downtown Montreal. You can party downtown, but then escape back to the tranquility of Ruby Foos. Hotel Ruby Foos Accommodations

Ruby Foos has the usual choice of queen size or two double beds, but there are also kitchenette studios available for extended stays. Each room has a work space with desk, dataports, personalized voice-mail, and high-speed Internet access. Also included are iron and ironing board, coffee maker (and coffee!), cable television, pay-per-view movies and video games. Safety deposit boxes are available at the front desk.

Amenities offered

If your're looking to stay fit, there is a fitness centre with exercise machines, a whirlpool, and saunas. For those wanting a little pampering there are therapeutic massage services, beauty salon/spa, and even a barbershop. To get your clothes spiffed up there is same-day dry cleaning and laundry service.
On site is la Tulipe Noire restaurant with a varied menu. If you'd prefer to stay in your room, room service is also available.

Take exit 69 from the Decarie Expressway (A15). Ruby Foos is on the East side of Decarie, just North of Pare. If travelling North, take exit 69 then continue along Decarie Boul.(North) just past rue Paré. If travelling South, take exit 69, then continue along Decarie boul. (South) to Jockeys, turn left, then left again on Decarie Boul. (North). Ruby Foos will be just past Paré.
Metro Namur is just a block south of the Hotel on Decarie Boul.
