Good Price, Great Loction, Small - posted on 03/12/2007
The room was incredibly small, but for the price, not bad. This place would be ideal for travellers on a shoestring budget. The staff were all helpful and curteous, except the parking garage staff. I was a little blindisded by the fact that parking was NOT included in the hotel rate, and very inconvenienced by the fact that the parking garage accepts CASH ONLY.
Good for a Weekend - posted on 03/12/2007
We have stayed at this hotel several times. Though the rooms are small, it is decent for the price and is close to many attractions (Eaton Center, Skydome, Hard Rock Cafe). There is also easy access to the subway...a great way to travel! There is underground parking across the street.....but it's not included in the room price. Though located in a busy area we never felt unsafe. I would recommend this hotel for a weekend get-a-way.

The rooms in this hotel were so small I felt like I would go insane! My husband and I stayed out as much as we could because the room was not comfortable at all. I will not come back to this hotel. The rates were acceptable but I would have gladly paid more to stay somewhere else.

Great location for the price. Room was small, but nice view of the city. Very friendly staff. room could use a small fridge.

I needed a place to stay for the International Bowl in Toronto. Although this is an older property, It was clean and in a great location. It was very easy to get a cab. The offsite parking was a little inconvenient but overall my experience was nice and the staff was very helpful.
Convenient location - nice rooms... - posted on 11/29/2006
The rooms at the Bond are clean if just a little small in size. Staff was very helpful. It's and older hotel but no major problems. Rooms are no frills and Hi-speed connections cost extra. The winning point is the location! Walking distance to many theaters, St Lawrence Market, the subway system, Eaton Mall and Younge Dundas Square is just 1/2 block from the hotel! They have an indoor garage across the street (low clearance) for 14.00 CAN. There are plenty of public lots but you pay a higher rate. Parking is an issue at all the hotels though.
Not bad for Toronto - posted on 10/18/2006
Considering the dearth of budget priced hotels in Toronto of good quality, Bond Place is a good hotel. Rooms are small and the decor is from the 70's(when the Hotel was first opened) however these are minor gripes. Great location near theatres and the Eaton Centre. The lobby restaurant has good food, prices tho understaffed.
Great Location - posted on 10/04/2006
Our stay at the Bond Hotel was great, the staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, the hotel was very conveniently located for what we wanted to do while in Toronto. We had our 20 year old son and 18 year old daughter with us and they liked how close they were to the Eaton Centre, Dundas Square and Younge Street. Will definitely stay here again.

Great hotel. Close to the theater, the Hard Rock Cafe and the Eaton Centre. Room was clean and the price was great for Toronto.
Bond Review - posted on 06/02/2006
The Bond Place hotel is in a fairly nice location and not far from theatres and other points of interest. But the room I stayed was pretty small for the money payed. The Eaton Centre is only about 3 or 4 walking minutes away--so that was nice. But overall, the hotel was not worth the price (even though I recieved a 40% discount).
100% what you can expect for your money! - posted on 04/20/2006
the bond place hotel is a good hotel in the heart of toronto that features everything you need for a city trip. it's not luxury at all but more than okay. parking is 14$/d and directly on the other streetside. the basic breakfast is simple but you can order what ever you like for a small extra charge.
great hotel for great price - posted on 04/16/2006
This hotel is ideally located-near to Eaton Place, several tram, bus or subway stops, and walking distance to Chinatown, theaters, museums, etc. Although the room was small, it was very cozy, and our view from the 16th floor was very nice. There is high speed internet, although you have to pay fir it, it is available. The cafe downstairs has a decent menu, and the complimentary breakfast offered can be "upgraded" for only five dollars to include just about anything on the menu. Very nice people, too.

This is a great hotel for the price. The room was very clean, the hotel staff was friendly and attentive, and the hotel is located in a great location (only steps away from Eaton Centre, Younge St., and subway station).

I stayed here with a friend and got a 50% discount for staying two or more nights. The location just off Yonge St and one block from Eden(?) Mall and Hard Rock Cafe is unbeatable. Also took a 2-hr Toronto City Tour with a great "buy one get one for a tooney" deal available thru the hotel. The only drawback was the minimal continental breakfast of toast & coffee -- why even say you offer it??
Bad Parking - posted on 02/20/2006
My recent stay at the Bond Place Hotel was rather enjoyable. Although the room was a little small, it was perfect for my boyfriend and I to spend the weekend. It was conveniently located near several attractions. The only complaint that I have is that parking was quite expensive and is across the street from the actual hotel. There was no mention of this on their website. Other than that, our experience was quite enjoyable and I would recommend the Bond Place Hotel to friends.

Great location. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. However, the bed and the pillows were rock hard, and there was no comfortable chair to sit in - only side chairs. It was impossible to relax in comfort.

I greatly enjoyed my stay at the Bond Place Hotel in Toronto. It was close to several attractions and the conference I was attending. Breakfast was wonderful. My only complaint was the spotty maid service--the toilet paper and kleenex in our room were not replenished daily.

The Bond Place Hotel was truly a find. Situated next to Dundas Square and the Olympic Spirit Center, at the edge of Chinatown, it is walking distance for shopping, restaurants and museums. Trouble-free as you can get in the center of a large city. Parking is readily available and trouble-free. The room was clean and featured tasteful decor and basic amenities. The price was reasonable. The concierge and staff were helpful with directions to all our desired sights.

Rooms were adequate and were well designed for twin beds. The service and housekeeping were outstanding. Staff were courteous and supportive. I would be pleased to recommend friends to stop there.
THEY CALL THESE BEDS? - posted on 07/08/2005
Staff friendly did a good job in explaining the hotel amenities. Room on the smaller side. The same type as a low to mid priced hotel in european. Room enough to move about the room and sleep. The only problem was the beds. A double bed and two singles, each of the beds was hard as a pine board.

The quad is a really nice room, with a double bed and 2 single. Unless a standard room, it is really spacious and comfortable.
