Arc Hotel in Ottawa Ontario

I had heard in reviews and from acquaintances that it was terrific. True - it is cute, with a funky lounge, but I was traeted miserably by the front desk employee. He was abrupt, rude, and never made eye contact with me. The room service was delayed and the meal was simply average - not what I would have expected for the price. Consider another hotel for your trip.

the hotel was a new experience for a hotel stay.... the fine details were a pleasant surprise,qualityaveda toiletries,apple,water,the note pads and other little comments on paper,champagne upon arrival, umbrellas at the door,the little extras were delightful,,,the rooms are small for 2 but fine for a short stay...

Very comfortable hotel room, nicely decorated in a contemporary style. The staff was attentive and helpful. A cut above the average. I recommend it without reservation for the business traveller or for the tourist; however, if you're travelling with kids, probably you're better off elsewhere. Save the hip factor for a nice time with your significant other.

By far, this is my favorite hotel in Ottawa... and I've tried many. The best two features have got to be the CD player in every room and the most comfortable beds I have ever had the pleasure to lounge around in!! It would be nice if the windows opened for fresh air, and well the views aren't worth mentioning... unless you like brick walls and alleyways. I always stay in the deluxe king room, supposedly the classic is small... but trust me, bring your favorite tunes, slip between the sheets and nothing else will matter!! Oh, the room service is pretty good too! Love the steak and frites!
