The Lord Elgin Hotel, as the name suggests, has an elegant exterior and is located directly in front of Confederation Park in the heart of Ottawa. During the summer all the major music festivals, including Jazz and Blues, take place at Confederation Park. The hotel is perfect for a walking tour of Ottawa as it is only 5 blocks from the Parliament, across the street from the National Arts Centre, walking distance to the Rideau Canal, Ottawa River, Rideau Centre (shopping galore) and the ByWard Market.

Lord Elgin Hotel Accommodations

The hotel has 355 guest rooms and suites spread over 11 floors. Each room has sound proof windows, which considering the centrality of the location near to music festivals is essential. The entrance offers a lobby bar and a fireplace and there is a Starbucks as well. The hotel has a lovely swimming pool, whirlpool and sauna.

Exit N on Metcalfe Street. Turn right onto Slater Street. Go one block to Elgin Street, and turn right. Hotel is on your right.

From Airport:
Take the Airport Parkway N (becomes Bronson Street). Turn right onto Slater Street. Go seven blocks to Elgin Street, and turn right. Hotel is on your right.
