Embassy West Hotel in Ottawa Ontario

The hotel was pretty far from the main downtown area, but the Ottawa transit system was pretty close and convenient. Overall, the hotel wasn't all that great. The elevators were small, and couldn't fit more than 4 people. The hallways and the room were filled with the smell of cigarette smoke, and the walls are extremely thin. Throughout the night, I heard conversations happening from the neighbors through the bathroom wall. (They were talking in their normal indoor voice) In the end the experience was unpleasant, and I would not return unless its absolutely necessary.

Hotel lobby was nice, only wireless internet in the lobby. Wall needed repairing in the room. Low water flush! Conference room down the hall had a party that was loud but ended around 10pm. Dining room need updating but buffet was good. Place just didn't feel as clean as some others but nothing you could point at.
