First impressions are not great at the Days Inn. The building is older and the reception desk area is very loud due to an open floor plan with a restaurant. Trying to check in with all the noise was difficult. They had us drive to door three in the back and the parking lot was gross. All the garbage bins were full and over flowing, there was construction material everywhere, and cigarette buts covering the sidewalk. At this point I was very worried! However, when we arrived in our room it was beautiful. It was recently remodeled and smelled like paint. We weren't happy with the fumes, so I spoke with the front desk about it. They were completely booked due to the reconstruction and couldn't move us to another room. They did offer to spray the room with an odor neutralizer and open a vent in the air conditioner so it drew in fresh air. It seemed to work and our room did air out. All in all, it was a nice stay and we were conveniently located to everything we needed. I would stay there again, especially for the price.
We have a newly renovated room.
It was dirty due to renovation and very old hotel. It needs the upgrade.

Honestly, we were really impressed with the room. The room had 2 beds, mini-fridge and a microwave. They didn't even have those at the Hilton. Plus, free wireless internet. The best part was the location (across from White Oaks Mall), near many restaurants and close to downtown. Very comfortable and clean. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.
Very good location, good room for the price.
Some maintenance occurred during the duration of our stay.

The staff received great reviews, as did the onsite restaurant. Although, there are a number of nearby options for you to try out as well. This isnt a luxury hotel though and guests should expect a clean, basic room. The location is a definite highlight as is the room price. Light sleepers might have difficulty falling asleep though as the walls between the rooms are a bit thin.
