Great all the way except I read at night and the light was very bright so that it annoyed my husband.

Luxurious linens, quality soaps etc, pedway to facilities.

Bedside lamps too bright, should have dimmers.

We had a great time. The location was perfect, we were able to walk to all Downtown locations. The kitchenette was a bonus! and the Waffles were awesome!

The room was huge and the staff was awesome!! The roof top patio was beautiful!

The bed could've been softer. They charged a $1 per local call.

This was a great hotel with a full size fridge, microwave, dishwasher, etc.

It was located centrally in the Downtown Core.

The parking was very small so we had a hard time getting my van out in the Morning.

The pet-friendly Residence Inn downtown Halifax is minutes from the waterfront and World Trade and Convention Centre and comprises 92 suites designed for the extended stay business and leisure traveler. Items included with the room rate at this six-story, non-smoking hotel are a hot breakfast buffet, a managers evening reception with a light meal and beverages, in-room coffee, local telephone calls and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. There are two meeting rooms available for business or social functions. The larger can accommodate 60 guests. The property is within walking distance of restaurants, entertainment and the historic area. Other area landmarks and attractions include the Canadian Naval Centennial display, the Neptune Theater, the Nova Scotia International Tattoo, the Halifax International Busker Festival and the Atlantic Film Festival which is held every October.

This Residence in Halifax gets mixed reviews from travelers who have stayed here. Some guests say the property is an excellent hotel while others complained that it is not up to normal high Marriott standards. Fortunately most agreed the property offers great value and said the suites are clean and spacious. Many were pleased with complimentary breakfast and they said the evening social hours with drinks and a light dinner were ideal for making new friends and learning more about Nova Scotia.
