Excellent Hotel - posted on 12/20/2006
I stay here often on business trips. The rooms are always clean and will stocked. The upgrade to the museum floor is well worth the extra dollars. Would recommend this hotel to any one.
quiet, great location - posted on 06/09/2006
I enjoyed my stay at Listel. I could walk to downtown, Stanley park, and shop on Robson. It is safe, quiet, beds are comfy. Parking is tight. I posted a bad experience with the parking garage, but in time, the manager compensated me in part for the damages. I would recommend this hotel for its location and comfort.
beware - posted on 05/27/2006
Service is marginal, and parking garage is poorly managed. I was leaving the hotel for the day and when another car blocked my exit, the attendant could not move the other car, so directed me between 2 parked cars. I learned later that both my car and the other car had scratches from contact. I asked the hotel to split the damage, since his attendent directed me to do this rather than move the car and they were defensive and rude. Stay somwhere else if you value service. Otherwise, good location
A pleasure to stay here.... - posted on 08/06/2005
The Listel was everything we'd hoped it would be after selecting online. We were upgraded to a gallery room which had really nice furnishings and included 'French Press' coffee delivered the next morning. Room was very clean. Building was secure w/ keys needed to reach floors. Desk people were extremely nice and very helpful. Location was perfect close to Stanley Park, Coal Harbour & English Bay--all w/in walking distance. Really a 1st class operation. On the cover of World's Greatest Hotels 2005 issue! A pleasure to stay here, truly.
Great Location, Average Hotel - posted on 07/11/2005
Rooms were fair, staff was average. The staff weren't overly eager to help and there was no concierge to discuss any possible ideas with. Location would be the only plus to this hotel
