Granville, We LOVE you! - posted on 03/14/2007
We stayed two nights at the hotel and had a fabulous time exploring Granville Island. This is the only hotel located on the island. So much to see and do. There are great shops and galleries The Public Market rivals Pike Place. The three course dinner at "The Cat's Meow" was great. The staff here was very helpful and friendly and our standard room clean and comfortable. I plan to go back soon with a group of gal pals!

booked travel package, received miniscule and outdated room in rear overlooking dumpster. Very shabby, staff worse. Bar and restaurant closed for outside parties for entire stay--room service tookhours, gave up and braved 30 degree cold to walk to eat. Travelers beware!

BEST Vancouver experience! The hotel is minutes to everything, without being surrounded by high rise hotels. Public Market steps from the hotel, great bars, shops and restuarants. We were upgraded to a suite with amazing water and city views. We did not want to leave. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Hotel is very small and has a boutique feeling. We would recommend this hotel to anyone. Can't wait to go back!!!
Great Hotel - posted on 04/29/2006
Hotel was clean and nice. Staff was terrific ? very friendly and helpful. The Hotel?s restaurant was right on the water with a great patio. Also, from the hotel it was easy to get to downtown Vancouver. However, I really enjoyed walking around Granville Island and seeing all the unique shops and artists.

Booked and paid for handicapped access room. Hotel gave the room to other non-wheelchair bound guest first night of reservation. Hotel would not move other guest. No access to room bath forced me to search out public rest room for toilet, toothbrushing, basic washing/ no shower. Hotel should not have given away paid room and did not correct situation as they should have.

We wrapped up our 10 day Vancouver vacation by staying on Granville Island the last 2 days. The location of the hotel is great, and we also got a wonderful room with a monstrous sized outdoor patio overlooking Granville Island. It was a cozy and comfortable hotel.

Great place to stay in Vancouver - posted on 05/17/2005
We loved the location of this small hotel in Vancouver. Great shopping, walking opportunities. The room design was very interesting and the rooms and hotels had lots of amenities, good dining, bike rentals and many more small things.
