A little bit dated - posted on 09/10/2006
If it was a 3 star hotel it would be perfect, but from Hyatt I expected more. Granted, I got really got deal - it did cost me as a 3 star hotel. It has a great location in the heart of downtown, but rooms need upgrade. The TV is small and old, there is some rust in bathroom. When booking keep in mind that parking is not free - it adds another $24 CD to your room rate.

Generally what you would expect from a Hyatt, good service overall, decent rooms and facilities. Clean and no surprises. The bathroom facilities could use some improvement, our faucet was on its way out.
A Tired Room - posted on 06/24/2006
Lousy bed. Lousy pillows. Undercooked eggs at breakfast; tough bacon; potatoes that must have been kept warm for a week; asparagus for breakfast; smoothies!

Customer service was exceptional. The hotel was extremely busy due to the Grey Cup festivities. The Hyatt was able to graciously meet all our needs.

I was very pleased with the service and accommodations. Stayed on the 25th floor, but with 5 elevators, never had to wait very long. Would stay there again.

The service and attitude of some of the staff is lacking. I found the front desk staff to be unfriendly and blunt. I was very when the concierge/bell staff stood watching my young child and I struggle with our luggage through the lobby at 5.30am one morning and continued to struggle to open the doors of the hotel to locate a taxi ourselves. No assistance was offered as they looked on and when I made a comment they continued to stand around and watch us.
