I've had bad experiences at the Hyatts in Houston and San Francisco before, so I was apprehensive, but this Vancouver Hyatt countered my sentiments. The location is great, check-in was a breeze, the staff was helpful with everything, including an Internet connection problem they couldn't solve at first and so offered us free use of the business center, the maid was a clean freak (yeah!), the parking valets were prompt and friendly, the lobby cafe inexpensive and healthy, and the pool and hot tub both worked just fine. All in all, a really nice stay.

Really friendly and helpful staff.

Parking is expensive; gym needs work - although a sign said it's undergoing renovation.

Excellent choice for value. Good location: convenient to restaurants, shopping, and attractions.

I liked the value in the price I paid for the room and location of the hotel.

The room we stayed in could have been updated a little, as far as decor and style.
