Usually an airport location is not my first choice when staying in a city for the first time. The hotel is lovely and bus stops out front, so it was easy to spend the evening seeing Vancouver before heading for our cruise the next day.

We liked the fact that the city bus stopped right outside the property. It made it easy to see Vancouver inexpensively.

Nothing comes to mind.

Hotel is convenient to airport with frequent shuttles and driver helps with bags. Front desk offered upgrade to premium room with king bed for $20 but no other perks. Bed was comfortable; dining is limited to hotel facilities only and nothing within walking distance. Charge for onsite parking. Convenient to city bus system, great for departures and arrival flights for 1-night only.

The Delta Vancouver Airport on Fraser River is surrounded by beautiful gardens. Guests are able to take advantage of more than 20 kilometers of riverside trails that connect to the hotel. A 24 hour complimentary shuttle is available. The shuttle runs every twenty minutes between the hotel and the airport. For those traveling by air the hotel has check-in kiosks located in the lobby. All thats left to do at the airport is check luggage and board the plane. For families with children, special rates for the rooms and restaurant are available. Certified childsitters are available so mum and dad can enjoy an evening out without the children. The hotel has three restaurants, including the flight deck open seasonlly where you can grab a bite to eat or enjoy a cocktail. For those seeking more action, The Elephant and Castle pub is located behind the hotel. The hotel has rooms are available for business meetings and banquets.
