If you only have a short time to explore make your way to the Totem Park, which hosts a fantastic collection of totem poles. Although its outdoors are reason enough to come, Prince Ruperts museums give you good reason to venture inside. A few worth mentioning include the Cannery Museum and the Museum of Northern BC.

Prince Rupert is also a wonderful place to celebrate the beginning of summer. SeaFest, held the second weekend in June, is a huge party complete with parades and delicious food. The creative locals have definitely taken advantage of all of the natural beauty that thrives here. They have captured the scenery perfectly through their paintings, carvings and sculptures, allowing you to take a bit of Prince Rupert back home with you.
