Prince Rupert is a wonderful collaboration of rainforests and mountain peaks, fantastic water activities and interesting museums. Located along BC’s north coast you will fall in love with the stunning beauty that thrives here.
Spend time at the harbour, go fishing, whale watching and boating or simply enjoy the many parks and trails available for you to explore. You can learn a bit of history while exploring the Pacific Mariners Memorial Park or do a little shopping and dining along the beautifully restored Cow Bay Waterfront. If you only have a short time to explore make your way to the Totem Park, which hosts a fantastic collection of totem poles. Although its outdoors are reason enough to come, Prince Rupert’s museums give you good reason to venture inside. A few worth mentioning include the Cannery Museum and the Museum of Northern BC.

Prince Rupert is also a wonderful place to celebrate the beginning of summer. SeaFest, held the second weekend in June, is a huge party complete with parades and delicious food. The creative locals have definitely taken advantage of all of the natural beauty that thrives here. They have captured the scenery perfectly through their paintings, carvings and sculptures, allowing you to take a bit of Prince Rupert back home with you.
