While the hotel itself was fine, I found myself waiting in line for ten minutes on two occasions just to speak with someone at the front desk. Although there is a dining room, the only meal served is a complimentary breakfast of muffins, buns, runny scrambled eggs, cereal and coffee/juice. While I stay in a hotel, I don't really want to travel to eat meals, and that is just what a person must do at this hotel.

Great location for airport access.

For me, too far to travel for restaurants. I like restaurants close by.

Latest addition to the Holiday Inn Express - Edmonton International Airport is an indoor swimming pool with water slide and hot tub. The 120-room property is ideally suited for business or family travelers and is three kilometers from the airport and operates a complimentary shuttle 24/7. The hotel has 34 suites either for executive use or equipped with bunk beds for families. Free items here include a continental breakfast, local phone calls, daily newspaper and Internet access. The hotel has 650 square of meeting space for business and social events.

All rooms have a work desk with Internet access, cable TV with movie channels and pay-per-view movies, telephone with voicemail and speaker phone, coffee maker and a hairdryer. The more expensive suites have a microwave oven and small refrigerator. A newspaper is delivered every morning.

Former clients here say this Holiday Inn offers good value for money and the staff does an excellent job from check-in until check-out. Particularly popular with families were the kidssuites which provided bunk beds for younger ones and king sizes beds for mom and dad. Tip from former visitors: Get a room away from the tracks to avoid the noise of trains at night.
