The Fantasyland Hotel is a 355-room theme hotel located in the heart of the world's largest shopping and entertainment complex, West Edmonton Mall, 25 miles from Edmonton Airport. The West Edmonton Mall is 5.2 million square feet in size with over 800 stores. It includes Galaxyland Amusement Park, the World's Largest Indoor Amusement Park, World Waterpark, the World's Largest Indoor Wave Pool and the world’s largest parking lot with space for 20,000 vehicles. The hotel has a wide range of wining and dining and has 15,000 square feet of meeting space for social or business functions.

Families love this hotel. Over 3.5 million guests have stayed at the Fantasyland Hotel since it opened its doors in 1986. Only complaint is that it is expensive and former guests say it is worth checking to see what discounts can be found. Fantasyland Hotel Accommodations

The hotel has 120 theme rooms in 11 different styles including Hollywood, Roman, Polynesian, Truck, Victorian Coach, Canadian Rail, Arabian, African, Igloo and Western. All rooms are air-conditioned and have cable TV, Internet access and IDD telephones with voicemail. There is a hairdryer in the fully-equipped bathrooms.

Amenities offered

Dining options within the hotel include the Cafe Europa offering breakfast, lunch and lighter dinners. The Fantasy Grill Dining Room offers upmarket culinary creations. The Fantasy Lounge offers full bar service and snacks. The West Edmonton Mall, which is the major attraction for staying here, will be expanding. Within the next ten years there will be an additional hotel, a residential shopping complex, an office tower and an 8,000 seat multi-use facility.
