Although close to the airport, there is minimal disturbance from planes flying overhead and the hotel’s surroundings are quiet. Rooms are clean and have comfortable beds. Personal transportation is required if guests want to explore the surroundings of Calgary, although the hotel has a complimentary shuttle bus to and from Calgary International Airport. Hampton Inn & Suites Calgary-Airport offers 72 rooms and 32 one-bedroom suites, all of which are non-smoking. All have air conditioning, cable television with video games, complimentary local calls on a two-line telephone with voice mail and data port, work desk with adjustable lamp, full-size refrigerator, iron & board, high speed Internet access, coffee maker, alarm radio, and daily local newspaper. The attached bathroom has hand-held shower or tub, bathroom amenities, and hair dryer. Some suites have a Jacuzzi. Connecting rooms, and reduced mobility rooms are available on request. Children under 18 years old have complimentary stay with parents.
