BEST STAY IN A LONG WHILE - posted on 08/10/2005
The girls at the front desk are spactacular and go out of their way to make your stay that much better. The restaurant has amazing food with very large helpings. There is a pub attached to the building which is a big relief for a busy man or woman. Wireless internet for those emergency days where you have to email your boss. Honestly I found the property quite good. GOOD JOB!!!

This was the worst hotel EVER. We had a lovely view of a 24 hour adult video store. The room was discusting and dirty. I kept looking at the clock waiting till a decent hour to get up and get out as fast as I could. I did not feel safe whatsoever. When I got down to the lobby in the morning there was a drunk walking in to use the bathrooms in the lobby. I was scared for my teenage daughters and we left ASAP.

This hotel was such a disappointment. We were on the 7th floor and our kids could have fallen out the window because it had NO screen. The room was filthy and the customer service was terrible. The so-called 24 hour security was a joke. If our review stops at least one person from staying at this hotel then we'll be happy.
WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER - posted on 05/17/2005
I am a seasoned traveler and flexible enough to take things in stride. This hotel, though, was so dirty, unkempt, shabby, and **frightening** that I realized I did not feel at all safe. The phone could be turned on only upon request (bizarre!) and I was told to walk through a dark, deserted bar and enter the kitchen in order to place an order for room service. The manager was rude and indifferent. I left and went to another hotel.

When we arrived at the hotel, the front desk service was good and we asked for a non smoking room. We then proceeded to our room and upon entering the room we noticed that there was a cigarete burn in the bed cover and the pillows looked as though they had not been changed since the hotel was built. There where patches of wall paper on the wall where they may have been ripped. All in all we thought the hotel was the worst we had ever stayed in and would not recomend it to anyone.

My family and I stayed at this hotel becuase of its location and price. The hotel is an older building, but obviously well cared for. The price was well in our budget, and the service was amazing.... My husband and I are what I call high maintenance... we ask alot of questions, and need alot of attention - most front desk workers get irritated with us - but here, they were more than happy to help! We'll use this hotel every time we come!
