Venue: Frontier Park. 3505 Dillon Avenue
Cheyenne WY 82001
Held during the last full week of July, Cheyenne Frontier Days is billed as the World’s largest outdoor rodeo and western celebration. During 10 pulsating days and nights, visitors can enjoy a traditional PRCA rodeo, flamboyant carnival and a concert with a packed programme of live entertainment and music. Free to the public, events get underway downtown with a pancake breakfast at an Indian village which includes authentic representations and exhibitions of Native American culture. But the main attractions are the rodeo events themselves including all the classics such as Steer Wrestling, Steer Roping, Wild Horse Racing, Barrel Racing, Bull Riding, Saddle Bronc and the rather more risky Bareback Bronc. So grab yourself a cowboy hat and some denims and join the fun
