Each year the community of Fremont comes together to celebrate the Summer Solstice with a weekend program of free events and entertainment. Spanning art, music, dance and performance, this is a fun weekend to which all are invited to let their hair down and have a good time. Music is performed on four different stages and the festival site is bursting with activities and entertainment ranging from children’s art workshops to a lavish Fremont Solstice Parade. Although entry is free, the event aims to raise money to help support neighbourhood projects for low-income families in the region
