The Utah Shakespearean Festival is an outstanding drama and theatre festival attracting some 150,000 visitors every year. It received the coveted Tony Award for America’s Outstanding Regional Theatre in 2000. In addition to the plays (not all of which are by Shakespeare), the festival offers free pre-show entertainment before all evening plays, literary seminars discussing the season's shows, seminars for actors, intimate and detailed backstage tours and play orientations before all shows
