One of the largest and most inclusive arts and culture events in the country, the annual Artown festival aims to promote the weird, wonderful and more unusual aspects of the art scene. Taking place in various locations and venues across the city of Reno, visitors can expect to enjoy a packed programme that includes music, dance, theatre, opera, film screenings and innovative children’s workshops which aim to encourage artistic expression amongst the younger visitors. Over 300 events take place during the weekend which each years attracts upwards of 250,000 people
