Celebrated in locations and venues across the city, the Minneapolis Aquatennial is the largest parade and free outdoor concert in Minnesota. Taking place over 10 fun-packed days, the event boasts one of the largest fireworks displays in the US and always attracts huge crowds. Other attractions and events include boat races, a sandcastle building competition, a beachside art fair, numerous neighbourhood park BBQs, athletics competitions and live music and entertainment
