A tradition that dates back to 1870, Boston’s famous Swan Boats are something of an institution in city and herald the arrival of the summer season. The boats operate in the Lagoon in Boston Public Garden in the heart of the city a short walk south of the Charles River. Each trip is a 15-minute peaceful cruise in lovely surroundings in the public garden. The Swan Boats are wheelchair accessible, and if the weather allows it, they run seven days a week during the season
